The webmasters over at google industries are working hard to provide webmasters with more information, the recent update is in the sitemaps section of the webmaster tools. You now can check the internal and external links from your website.

The google engineers called it discover your links, with this option is google sitemaps you can check the links to and from your website. Because webmasters tend to use the link: operator in google this feature is a nice addition to the webmaster sitemaps program. The operator is broken for a long time now so this tool will be able to tell you how many backlinks you have and from where they are comming.

Google sitemaps program is a tool that’s a must have for every serious webmaster who operates a successful website.
